Name

Our wines are named after courtroom jargon to honor Judge Marlo’s career in the judicial system. Our Pinot Noir from Saveria Vineyard is named Alternate Juror to acknowledge our first Pinot Noir from another vineyard.

Winemaker

John Benedetti presents one of his best vintages yet. Aged in 30% new French oak, 70% a mix of 1 fill and 2 full barrels. Coopers are Leroi, TN Coopers and Billon. 5% whole cluster fermentation. Harvested 23.5 - 24.5 brix. 4 day cold soak at 40°. Native and Burgundian yeasts. Total cuvaison 13 days. Aged 11 months on the lees.

Vineyard

Saveria Vineyard is one of the highest quality vineyards in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Planted and managed by Prudy Foxx in the late 90’s, this vineyard sits on Pleasant Valley, neighbors to the equal Lester Family Vineyard. Discover Pinot Noir and Petite Sirah at this low sitting (600ft) vineyard, embraced by morning fog and hot afternoons.
